The Kingsbridge Youth For Christ Mentoring Team log over 130 hours in Kingsbridge Community College annually – supporting the mental health and wellbeing of our local young people.

Currently we have a team of 3 mentors working with 7 students each week.

Our mentoring project is shaped to serve the school and support the students where local resources are often stretched, and health services are at capacity. We are not teachers, parents  psychologists, therapists or doctors – but our team are trained to provide a listening ear, build self confidence and resilience, and demonstrate unconditional and non judgemental value for the students we work with.

We work with the senior leadership team to identify students who will benefit from having a trusted and committed adult to talk with to work through personal and social issues.

Please watch this video to hear testimonials about our mentoring programme from the senior leadership team and students at KCC.
