Jemima Carr

Hi, I am Jemima. I’m 22 and from Guernsey. I have previously been working for my church back home at Vazon elim, where I have been a children and youth leader for 2 years. Outside of youth and children’s work, I enjoy spending time on the beautiful beaches of Guernsey and looking after my indoor free-roaming rabbit, Albie!

I have moved to Kingsbridge to start interning with Kingsbridge Youth for Christ while being a part of South West Youth Ministries. As part of SWYM, I am doing an NCFE award in christian leadership, as this year I really want to grow in confidence and faith within my leadership. I’m very thankful to God for this new opportunity and excited to go out into schools and start mentoring and meeting the young people where they are at, especially the KYFC van, giving out hot chocolates!

My prayer for the year would be that I settle here and be a light for all to see, and that God will be at work transforming lives, especially for the young people, so that they will know God’s plan and purpose for them!
